How to replace the heating elements of glass tempering furnace?

If there is any heating wire of glass tempering furnace is broken, it needs to be replaced asap, otherwise it will affect the quality of tempered glass. You can check the following replacement steps as reference:

1. Remove the connection of the heating wire, loosen the hook nut of the radiation plate, and lower both the radiation plate and the furnace wire down until they are completely removed.

2. Remove the damaged heating wire and adjust the spacing between the new heater spirals evenly, adjust the length of the spirals appropriately, thread the spirals through ceramic tubes, and cover them with frame bricks (if any).

3. Install the heating wire and frame bricks on the radiation plate, straighten the two ends of the heater in a straight line, and install sufficient ceramic rings and ceramic tubes on the straight line according to drawing. Lift up the radiation plate to thread the heater into the insulation cotton ceramic tube, gradually lift up the radiation plate, attach the hook of the radiation plate, and insert the thermocouple end into the hole of the radiation plate.

4. Continue to lift up the radiation plate and tighten the nuts of the hooks to level the radiation plate to the correct position, ensuring that multiple hooks are evenly stressed

5. Adjust the thermocouple so that the lower end of the thermocouple is flush with the lower surface of the radiation plate, and lock the thermocouple locking sleeve.

6. Finally, connect the heater’s connection joint, connect the thermocouple to the compensating wire, and ensure that the positive and negative poles are not connected incorrectly.
