You can cascade up to 10 PCLD-789Ds, and a single data acquisition card can read up to 160 analog input channels after cascading The PCLD-789D comes with a DB-37 interface and a 20 core flat cable interface, allowing PCL-818L or PCL-818HD to read up to 128 channels without the need to use more digital output cables to select channels The PCLD-789D uses an advanced instrument amplifier that provides switch selectable gains of 1,2,10,50100200 and 1000. The amplifier allows you to accurately measure weak signals when using a PC LabCard. The card also comes with a cold junction compensation detection circuit that allows you to directly connect the output of the thermocouple transmitter to measure temperature. With practical software compensation and linearization functions, you can use various types of thermocouples
