Compressed air plays an important role in the production of tempered glass: it not only serves as the air supply source for numerous actuators in the glass tempering furnace, but also plays a unique role in temperature balance within the heating furnace. Therefore, it is very important for the air circuit to function properly, and its maintenance precautions are as follows:
1. During the air compressor running, maintenance person should continuously inspect and check for any air or oil leaks, as well as any abnormal noises; If there is any abnormal noise, it must be repaired immediately.
2. After the air compressor is shut down, the oil and water in its air storage cylinder should be drained in time to prevent them from entering the gas pipeline.
3. Check the lubrication level of the air compressor regularly. If the oil level is too low, please add it in a timely manner. The recommended lubricating oil is 80-100 #.
4. The air filter of the air compressor should be cleaned every 50 hours. If the cleaning is ineffective, it needs to be replaced in time. If the air filter is a paper filter, clean it by blowing compressed air from the inside out during cleaning; If the air filter is sponge filled, it can be cleaned with a detergent and air dried.
Attention:
The air compressor and air tank of the glass tempering furnace need to be purchased and installed by the customer. The customer should buy a bigger air compressor for their workshop, because for some other machines, they also need the compressed air.
Technical requirements for air compressor of glass tempering furnace:
Air Compressor: 1.5 m3 / Min, 0.8MPa
The compressed air should be free of water & oil, and be sufficient in terms of airflow & air pressure
Air Tank: >1 m3
Air Consumption: 1.5 m3 / Min
