How To Install A Glass Tempering Furnace? Installation Method And Steps of Glass Tempering Furnace

The installation and commissioning of glass tempering furnaces are crucial for the production of tempered glass. Do you know how to install a glass tempering furnace? The installation of glass tempering furnaces is generally carried out by installation technicians trained by the manufacturer, and what we need to do is to have a systematic understanding of the entire process, so that we can also have a clear understanding of whether the equipment is installed properly from the side.

1. Preparation work before installation

1.1. Equipment unloading preparation: When arriving at the installation site for unloading, it is necessary to open the tarpaulin to check for water ingress or damage to the equipment, and check the quantity of equipment according to the transportation list. The equipment should be unloaded using a crane and transported to the designated installation location in sequence.

1.2. On site investigation and marking: The installation personnel need to plan the site, test the ground flatness and bearing capacity, draw the equipment installation centerline and fan centerline according to the layout plan, and mark the specific landing points. Pay attention to the location of equipment air ducts, electrical control cabinets, factory pillars, fire protection facilities, cable trenches, and other box specifications to avoid mutual interference.

1.3. Horizontal line adjustment: Based on the lower end point of the roller conveyor shaft seat plate hole in front of the heating furnace, the initial horizontal plane and centerline adjustment of the equipment is carried out, in order: heating section 1 #, heating section 2 #, heating section 3 #, heating section 4 #, high cooling section, medium pressure cooling section, low pressure cooling section, and discharge/retrieval table. Keep each section of the roller conveyor on the same horizontal plane.

Specific requirements:

The error of the horizontal plane on the overall roller conveyor is ≤ 3mm

The centerline error between each section of the overall equipment is ≤ 3mm

2. Installation of glass tempering furnace

2.1. Peripheral installation of heating furnace: Install the motor and main drive shaft in the corresponding position of the furnace according to the instructions, install the drive motor, and ensure that the centerline of the main drive shaft pulley is consistent with the main drive shaft.

2.2. Installation of fan: Special disassembly and assembly tools are required, and cannot be dismantled by hammering to ensure that the rotation direction of the impeller is consistent with the required rotation direction.

2.3. Installation of furnace body cover: The furnace body shell cover needs to be installed according to the provided installation drawings, determine the position of the cover number, seat it according to the number, and keep the surface of the cover flat and even with gaps.

2.4. Installation of ceramic roller conveyor and external roller conveyor: Check the furnace wire, steel plate inside the furnace, suspension bracket, balance pipe, ceramic seat, etc. Check for any looseness or lifting. The installation and fixation of the roller conveyor using a roller conveyor frame must be carried out by two or more people simultaneously to avoid deformation of the roller or tilting of the bearings. After installation, manually rotate the roller conveyor to see if there is any obvious abnormal noise or jumping phenomenon, and strive to rotate smoothly.

2.5. Installation of pressure reducing valve: The gas pressure of the pressure reducing valve is generally adjusted to around 0.4~0.5MPa.

2.6. Installation of air circuit: Install the air collection box, air cylinder in the air circuit, solenoid valve, air supply pipeline, and fan. Please refer to the installation drawings and fan manual for installation. After installation, check whether the welding, various connections, and connection bolts between the ground and equipment are loose.

2.7. Installation of circulating water circuit: The circulating water circuit is used for cooling the high-temperature fan in the heating section of the glass tempering furnace. It should be ensured that the circulating water pump and pipeline of the cooling water system operate normally without blockage or leakage.
