The main structure of the glass tempering furnace is composed of four parts: the discharge section, the heating section, the tempering section, and the extraction section. Among them, the main mechanisms for releasing fragments are the lifting platform and the steel adhesive roller conveyor. Below, we will introduce the function of releasing fragments in the glass tempering furnace, the characteristics of releasing fragments, and the requirements for glass placement during use.

1. The role of releasing fragments in the glass tempering furnace

The main function of placing fragments is to smoothly transport the glass raw materials, which are then transported by the roller conveyor to the heating furnace. The surface of the roller conveyor at the front end of the playback is made of rubber material, which helps to reduce the impact of the roller conveyor on the glass during playback and avoid scratches on the original glass sheet, affecting the quality of the finished product. The glass will be smoothly transferred to the heating section through the conveyor belt.

For large glass fragments, there is also an auxiliary lifting device for easy placement. When placing the glass, the edge roller can be used to complete the placement of the glass. The glass can be transported to the predetermined position in front of the furnace for standby through the automatic feeding button on the roller conveyor. According to the size of the placed glass, the distance of each movement of the glass can also be set during operation to facilitate the placement of glass of different specifications. By using the photoelectric switch in front of the furnace and the rotary encoder installed on the transmission mechanism, the length of the glass can also be measured.

2. The characteristics of releasing fragments in glass tempering furnaces

2.1. Shock absorption and protection performance: The front transmission of the release clip is mainly made of steel material with a rubber surface roller, and this rubber surface is mainly made of high-density NBR rubber material. It can not only effectively reduce the impact force of the roller on the glass lock during release, but also avoid the phenomenon of the original glass being scratched.

2.2. Easy to observe during loading and unloading: In the edge roller system where fragments are placed, the upper busbar needs to be higher than the edge cover, which not only facilitates better loading and unloading of glass sheets, but also facilitates better observation of the quality of the original or tempered glass sheets, avoiding the phenomenon of poor tempering effect.

3. Requirements for glass tempering furnace discharge

  

To avoid frequent heating of the roller conveyor in the heating section, which may result in a specific position being higher than the temperature in the surrounding area where no glass is placed. We require that the adjustment of the spacing should be considered during the film placement process, and the placement direction of the incoming film should be adjusted to evenly heat the roller conveyor and reduce the occurrence of deformation. Specifically, if there is a large gap at a certain position on the tempering furnace plate during the plate placement, glass should be placed at this gap in the next plate placement to avoid the high temperature of the ceramic roller in the gap area of the heating furnace, which may affect the quality of the tempered glass.

At the same time, in order to avoid being affected by the distance between glass and glass being too close, untimely sampling, or explosion, edge collapse, etc., we should pay attention to the distance between glass and glass not being less than 5cm when placing the glass.
