1. Heating time setting
Set a reasonable heating time for the thickness, size, and molding state of the glass. The larger the glass surface, the longer the heating time should also increase. The heating time for glass with a thickness of each millimeter is generally 40-45 seconds, and the higher the thickness of the glass, the heating time should be increased proportionally on this basis. If there are openings on the glass, the heating time can be increased by 2.5-5%
2. Upper and lower temperature settings
The furnace temperature of the glass tempering furnace is divided into upper and lower temperature settings. The furnace temperature is lower according to the thickness of the glass, while the thinner the glass, the higher the temperature setting. When there are holes on the edges of the glass, the temperature should not be set too high. The heating speed of the glass is too fast, and attention should be paid to the phenomenon of glass falling corners.
3. Uniform heating
The position of glass placement is to ensure the uniformity of longitudinal and transverse loads inside the electric furnace, and to ensure that the gap time between the glass placement and each furnace is uniform. When the glass moves back and forth in the electric furnace, it is easy to cause overheating in the roller area at the edge of the glass, and it is also prone to appearing on the rollers between two pieces of glass. In actual production, glass plates move forward in the tempering furnace with the same layout of plates, and the temperature difference between the rollers is relatively obvious. As a result, when the plate placement changes, the glass will bend in the heating furnace or break in the rapid cooling chamber
4. Empty furnace time setting
The setting of the empty furnace time needs to ensure that after the top glass is discharged from the furnace, the temperature inside the tempering furnace returns to the set temperature value. Once the heating furnace is overloaded, it may cause the glass to break in the cooling section, which can be determined by checking the temperature in each area.
