1.Due to the contact between glass and ceramic rollers, the expansion speed of the lower surface of the glass is greater than that of the upper surface after entering the furnace. The glass will bend and deform upwards, and the glass plate will be suspended around, with only the middle part in contact with the ceramic rollers.

2.In this situation, it will cause the glass area in contact with the ceramic roller to heat up faster than the surrounding suspended parts (due to heat conduction). The suspended part will not continue to absorb heat until the glass plate is completely softened before it comes into contact with the ceramic roller. At this time, the temperature in the middle part of the glass plate is much higher than the temperature at the edges of the glass, which causes deformation in the middle part of the glass plate due to excessive temperature, Thus, after tempering, it is easy to form optical distortion of the glass.

3. In response to the above situation, the glass tempering furnace should be equipped with an upper forced convection system, which can quickly flatten the glass in the heating furnace by hot air or adjusting the upper and lower furnace temperatures, thereby avoiding the above problems.
