1.2. The furnace temperature should be higher than the glass temperature: The stress of glass refers to the internal force that interacts between the various parts inside the glass when it deforms due to external factors, in order to resist external forces and attempt to restore the glass to its original position before deformation. If residual stress in the glass cannot be completely eliminated, tensile stress can form in the center of the glass during the quenching stage, which can easily cause glass fracture.
