What are the preparations before installing the glass tempering furnace?

The installation and commissioning of Lever glass tempering furnaces would be made by Lever engineers. when the glass tempering machine arrive at the buyer’s factory, Lever will send the technician/enigneers for the the installation. Also in some markets, such as India, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, we have our local installation team who could install the new glass tempering furnace and also provide the after sales service for the old glass tempering furnace plant.

But before instalaltion, the customer should make some preparations work to guarantee the installation would be carried out greatly.

before installation, pls be sure followings are 100% ready

1. main power for the machine (not the temporary power)

The buyer should supply of electric power, compressed air to the equipment points set by the Seller.

2. To provide the electrical cable between the buyer’s transformer and the control cabinet and the electrical cable between the fan room and the control cabinet.

3.air compressor and air tank for the machine

4. Prepare the groundwork well according to design by the Seller before equipment installation.

5. the pre-processing machines are ready, such as edging machine, washing machine, cutting machine. because we need the glass for tested

6. enough float glass (after cutting, edged) for test

The customers should provide the materials for trial-produce during test period, such as good quality glass sheets etc.

7. if the blower put at the top of glass tempering furnace, the customer should prepare the materials for blower frame, we will give you the blower frame layout and its materials in advance. the customer only prepare the blower frame materials. when our engineer arrive, they can start to weld the blower frame. If the blower put at the side of glass tempering furnace, the customer should prepare the materials for building the blower room. We will send you the requirements for blower room in advance.

Anyway, when the machinery arrive in the Buyer’s site, the Buyer should guarantee that all the conditions are fulfilled and supplies are available so that the installation commissioning will be possible to carry out immediately.
