As a key component of the tempering furnace, the quality and installation quality of the ceramic roller conveyor directly affect the finished product quality of tempered glass. Based on on-site experience, the following points are summarized for reference by relevant personnel regarding the precautions for the transportation, installation, maintenance, and production process of the ceramic roller conveyor in the glass tempering furnace:
1. During the installation of the ceramic roller conveyor, it should be handled with care, especially when temporarily placed on ground supports. It must be securely fixed to prevent the rollers from rolling onto the ground and causing damage.
When the ceramic roller is installed into the furnace, it must be placed in the middle of the insulation material circular holes on both sides of the furnace body. If it is not in the middle position, the insulation material should be treated appropriately. At the same time, when pressing down on the upper furnace body, the position should be appropriate to prevent excessive pressure on the upper furnace body, which will compress and deform the insulation material circular holes, causing the roller to become stuck and rotate inflexibly, causing vibration, until the roller fractures.
3. During the installation process, appropriate protective measures should also be taken to prevent damage to the rollers and affect product quality.
Special emphasis should be placed on the maintenance and upkeep of ceramic rollers, as follows:
3.1. Strictly control the inspection of the upper part, and prohibit the raw pieces that have not been cleaned or ground, as well as glass with edge defects from entering the furnace. It is also necessary to prevent tempered glass from entering the furnace again to prevent damage such as scratches on the rollers caused by glass explosion in the furnace.
Emphasize and establish a system for users: if the temperature exceeds 300 ℃, the equipment needs to be on duty by a dedicated person. Regularly check whether the main drive and each roller stop rotating, and promptly handle any problems found.
3.2. For users who are new to the tempering process, it is important to emphasize that one person sets the process parameters and the other person confirms and inspects them to prevent phenomena such as thin glass sticking to the furnace and thick glass exploding due to improper process parameter settings.
Emphasis should be placed on quickly climbing up to the top of the furnace and manually opening the rear furnace door to quickly discharge the glass and prevent sticking to the furnace due to problems with the air compressor.
3.3. Field drills should be conducted for possible handling methods of sticking and exploding furnace faults, to facilitate proficient operation in emergency situations. It is necessary to pay attention to the reliability of the hand cranking mechanism and the direction of the hand cranking mechanism to prevent unnecessary losses caused by the wrong direction of shaking.
3.4. It should be emphasized that in the event of a power outage, operators must not panic. Under the unified command of the team leader, the rear furnace door should be opened and the main drive of the furnace should be shaken. At the same time, synchronize the shaking of the wind grille to prevent the glass from sticking to the furnace due to being left in the furnace, or the glass from piling up on the rear furnace door and not coming out, causing sticking rollers or roller scratches.
If the sticky roller glass cannot be shaken out of the furnace, a wooden stick can be used to lift it upwards. It is strictly prohibited to use metal sticks to scratch or knock on the ceramic roller track. When the adhesive roller glass cannot be lifted, it is strictly prohibited to lift it hard. Wait for the tempering furnace temperature to naturally cool to room temperature, and then gently tap with a rubber rod. The glass and ceramic roller will naturally peel off.
