Belt early fracture

Reasons: 

1. Be short of consideration of inertia force of driven wheel.

2. Under heave-load or the driven wheel stop due to fortuitous accidents.

3. The pulley is too small or the belt be bent.

Solutions: 

1. Check the design.

2. Change the pulley more than the minimum number of tooth.

3. Please give full attention and care when carrying, storage and installation of the belts.

Belt edge fray

Reasons:

1. The axle parallelism is not accurate.

2. The bearing rigidity is inadequate.

3. Pulley diameter smaller than belt camber.

Solutions:

1. Adjust and fix the pulley.

2. Increase bearing stiffness, and fixed firmly.

3. Adjust for replace the flange.

4. Check the design.

Belt tooth fray

Reasons:

1. Under heavy-load.

2. Belt tension is too strong.

3. Mix fray dust.

4. The oil leads to the belt contraction.

Solutions:

1. Improve design.

2. Belt tension reduction.

3. Improving the environment.

4. Don’t let belt dip oil or use oil-resistant belt.

Belt tooth break down

Reasons:

1. Jump tooth.

2. Driven wheel bearing be burned or other fortuitous accidents.

Solutions:

1. a. Under heavy-load.

b. The tension reduction.

c. The number of biting tooth is not enough.

d. The bearing rigidity be not enough.

2. a. Check the design.

b. Adjustment of excessive tension.

c. Increase pulley diameter and the number of biting tooth.

d. Change the bearing. Increase bearing stiffness, and fix it firmly.
