Heat exchange convection tempering furnace is a new generation of tempering furnace, which added heat exchange convection system on the basis of normal radiation furnace. The external compressed air is blown onto the glass surface through the high temperature pipes inside the heating oven, and greatly enhances the heating intensity on the glass surface. Before the compressed air enters the pipes in the oven, it has passed through the heat exchange system on the top of heating oven, and its temperature can reach more than 600 degrees on arrival of the glass surface.

The working principle of the heat exchange system is firstly taking the hot air inside the oven into the heat exchange system, and then the compressed air will be heated progressively with the hot air, then the hot air will be discharged from the heat exchange system. Because the heat exchanger took the hot air from the oven, it can drop the internal pressure greatly caused by the compressed air, also it can reduce heat loss. Due to this heating method greatly enhance the strength of the upper surface of the glass, made it more economical, simple, energy-efficient convection tempering furnace, it is very suitable for tempering LOW-E glass and other various of coated glass. At the same time, the heating time is shorter and high productivity for ordinary float glass.

Main Technical Features:

1. Heating oven has a helix matrix structure, the upper & lower heating zones consist of several matrix blocks. Each matrix block could be controlled separately by SSR, also its heating power could be adjusted separately. This design makes the temperature-control more accurate, and it is very convenient for the operators to make the fine-adjustment according to different glass.

2. Each matrix block has the separate thermocouples to measure the temperature. The temperature-measuring adopts the advanced modular centralized control which adopts 485 communication, this design could reduce the quantity of thermocouple connecting lines and makes the system have stronger anti-jamming capability, also it could improve the temperature-measuring accuracy & reliability to guarantee the homogeneous temperature in each zone.

3. The heat exchange system took the hot air in the furnace in, then exhaust the slightly above room temperature air out, which makes energy saving and environmental protection.

4. The heat exchange system developed by our company, with high heat exchange efficiency, antioxidation, etc..

The blowing tubes are installed at the above of ceramic rollers, the proportion between the diameter of air nozzle and tubes is scientific.

6. The ceramic rollers driving adopts double belts which could guarantee the ceramic rollers running synchronously & reliably. This design could avoid the scratch during glass moving on the rollers and decrease 50% failure rate during the rollers transmission

After glass enters heating oven, the frequency and blowing time of the high-temperature fans could be set separately, which is suitable for processing different kind of glass.
