How to solve the problem if tempered glass bent upward or downward

For most glass processing factory, when they glass tempering furnace to produce tempered glass, sometime, after tempering, the tempered bent upward or downward. How to solve this problem, we give you below suggestions:

1. if the problem just happened without change any parameters or anything, pls check if the air nozzles of quenching section is blocked or not, pls check all the air nozzles and clean them.

2. If the glass curve is downwards like the following picture:

          

if the bent is like this, it means the upper quenching pressure is too big, then you could make the lower quenching pressure bigger than before. The way is like this, at the outside of air collector, there is one box, and there are some buttons on this box, there is one button named “Lower prssr. Up”, pls press this button to make the lower quenching pressure bigger. Also, as you know, there is one air pressure meter at the operation box which located at the outside of flat section, you should check the air pressure meter and make sure the lower quenching pressure is bigger than before.

Then you should arrange some sample glass for testing, the sample glass size could be 200x1500mm. and pls loading it in the direction of 1500mm, I mean 1500mm is the glass moving direction.

Pls test the glass again and again, and adjust the lower quenching air pressure again and again, until the glass is not curve.

Normally, when you tempering the glass, the glass long side should be in the glass moving direction, then the glass will not easy for curve.

Also, after tempering, even the glass is straight, but when you load the glass onto the glass frame, the glass frame should be as long as enough, if the frame is shorter than the glass length, the glass also will be curve during the laying

 

3. If the glass curve is upwards like the following picture:

If the glass thickness is different, the parameters would be different, you should make the tests.
