The noise spectrum generated during the operation of the glass tempering furnace is relatively high, generally above 90dB (A), and the noise source is complex, making it difficult to control. When reducing noise in glass tempering furnaces, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the needs of equipment, customers, and other factors, such as heat dissipation issues and cost-effectiveness of treatment solutions.

1. The characteristics of noise in glass tempering furnaces

The noise caused by tempering furnace equipment has a high sound frequency, complex sound sources, and cannot be directly controlled, resulting in strong diffusion. The noise control of the tempering furnace also needs to consider issues such as ventilation, heat dissipation, and equipment maintenance, and the control process is relatively complex.

2. Methods for controlling the noise of glass tempering furnace machine

To achieve good noise reduction results, it is necessary to start from the following three aspects:

(1) blower/Fans and tempering furnace equipment must be equipped with soundproof walls, and the process must adopt an internal sound-absorbing and external soundproof structure.

(2) Ventilation and noise reduction louvers must be installed in the fan room to meet the intake and noise reduction requirements of the fan.

(3) A heat dissipation and noise reduction plate must be installed above the tempering furnace to meet the heat dissipation and noise reduction requirements.

3、 Explanation of noise control device for glass tempering furnace

1. Sound absorption and soundproofing board

Sound insulation is a commonly used technical measure in noise control engineering. It uses various panels and panels inside the wall as shielding, or uses maintenance structures to control noise within a range, making it difficult for noise to pass through smoothly and thus achieving noise reduction.

Sound insulation board is composed of galvanized steel plate, anti resonance frame, sound-absorbing material, professional galvanized perforated sound-absorbing board and other main materials assembled and combined. Each module can be disassembled and reassembled without affecting the sound insulation effect or damaging the overall structure of the sound insulation cover. It has a beautiful appearance and good sealing effect;

2. Ventilation and noise reduction louvers

The ventilation and noise reduction louvers are made of galvanized steel plates. The louvers attenuate the radiation of noise through reasonable settings, and a micro porous piston type sound absorption resonator is installed under the blades to absorb noise, solving the ventilation problem inside the sound insulation hood.

3. Heat dissipation muffler

The straight panel sound-absorbing board is made of professional galvanized perforated sound-absorbing board, and the spacing of the panels is arranged reasonably to meet the requirements of heat dissipation and noise control for external radiation

1. Set up a soundproof room for the glass tempering furnace fan to block the external transmission of noise;

2. Install soundproof doors and windows at appropriate locations in the fan soundproof room to facilitate worker inspection and daily maintenance of equipment;

3. Install a sound-absorbing device on the upper part of the tempering furnace;

4. Reasonably set up sound-absorbing air intakes, and install fans inside the air intakes for forced air intake and heat dissipation.

The working principle of the glass tempering furnace blower fan:

The basic principle of using high-speed rotating impellers to convert kinetic energy into potential energy is to accelerate the vapor, then slow down, change the flow, and convert kinetic energy into potential energy. In the fan of the glass tempering furnace, the steam enters the impeller from the axial direction, changes to the radial direction when passing through the impeller, and then enters the diffuser. In a diffuser, the vapor changes direction, increases the cross-sectional area of the pipeline, slows down the airflow, and converts kinetic energy into pressure energy.

Common classification of glass tempering furnace fans:

According to factors such as pressure, structural form, and speed, it is divided into high-speed centrifugal fans, low-speed centrifugal fans, low-speed fiberglass fans, single axis fiberglass fans, multi axis toothed compressors, etc.
