With the improvement of production technology, more and more curved glass is widely used in various fields. Do you know how curved glass is produced? In fact, the production principle of curved steel glass tempering furnace and flat steel glass tempering furnace is similar, and the main difference lies in the operation of arc adjustment. Below, we will introduce the specific method of arc adjustment for curved steel in glass tempering furnace.

1. Arc adjustment method for curved air grilles in glass tempering furnaces

1.1. Set parameters: Set an appropriate arc changing speed in the parameter table. The radius and glass thickness are key factors affecting the arc changing speed. If they are thick, reduce the arc changing speed appropriately. To automatically adjust the arc, simply input the calculated value and click on the arc adjustment button to adjust the lower air grille to the correct position. Change the depth of the grille by about 1 by 10 values

1.2. Template selection: Select the appropriate template based on the curvature of the customer's product requirements.

1.3. Raise the arc adjustment spiral of the upper wind grille to a certain height, ensuring that both sides are consistent. Turn the upper wind grille into an arc, ensuring that its radius is less than or equal to the required radius, and then raise the upper wind grille;

1.4. Press the "increase arc" or "decrease arc" button to control the gap of the lower wind grid arc adjustment slider, to determine the depth of the wind grid after arc initiation; Note that the clearance between the sliding blocks of Type 2 bending steel is already 0 when it reaches 9 meters, and the radius exceeding 9 meters needs to be controlled by the magnitude of the arc changing speed;

1.5. To convert the downwind grille into an arc, place the arc plate on the edge of the downwind grille and move it left and right. Compare the curvature of the grille, and if it does not match, repeat the adjustment of the downwind grille until it matches the arc plate;

1.6. Maintain the arc changing state of the downwind grille, lower the upwind grille, unfold it to match the downwind grille, and tighten the arc adjusting top wire of the upwind grille;

1.7. Flatten the upper wind grille, then press the arc changing button to bend the lower wind grille, and compare it with an arc plate for inspection; The main tests for furnace bending steel are curvature, flatness, and fragmentation.

1.8. The difference between the test furnace results and the production of finished products is mainly due to the influence of the size of the glass area on heating time, flatness, and conformity. When entering the finished product, the heating time needs to be extended. A furnace of glass that has just started processing often has an impact on flatness due to the high surface temperature of the roller conveyor, which needs to be further adjusted during actual production.

2. The principle of arc adjustment for glass tempering furnace bending steel

2.1. Arc changing speed: refers to the speed at which the glass enters the air grille and the grille changes from flat to curved. The principle of setting is to have a small radius and thin glass, requiring a faster speed; A larger radius requires a slower glass thickness.

2.2. Entrance distance: refers to the position where the front end of the glass reaches the air grille after it is discharged from the furnace.

2.3. Effective distance of wind barrier: refers to the distance between the position reached by the rear end of the glass after entering the wind barrier and the front end reached by the glass.

2.4. Rapid cooling reciprocating speed: refers to the speed at which the glass swings in the air grille. Setting principle: small glass radius and fast speed; Glass with a thick radius is slower in speed. But it must be noted that if the rapid cooling reciprocating speed is reached, the rear end of the glass may run out of the air grille, and the effective distance of the air grille must be adjusted appropriately.

2.5. The working time of the upper pressure roller is mainly to assist in glass forming, and its time is generally consistent with the quenching time. The general use range of small bending sections is relatively large, which can reach a radius of 450. In order to meet the requirements of glass shape, the method of pressure forming is adopted, using the wind grille to press the glass into shape with the upper pressure roller. Generally, glass with a radius of 1000 or more does not need to be pressed up for shaping.

2.6. Pre lifting time of the upper wind grille: The principle for setting the lifting time of the upper wind grille is: the radius is small, the time is long, and the radius is large, the time is short. However, be sure not to tighten the chain too tightly, as too tight will damage the wind grille.

The above is an introduction to how to adjust the arc of the bent steel in the glass tempering furnace, which includes the arc adjustment method and principle of the air grille.
