When the ceramic roller breaks or generates uneven heat, and the ceramic roller parts appear alternately in incandescent or dark red, it means that the parts of the ceramic roller have aged, and there is a significant difference in resistance in each section. It is necessary to stop the furnace for maintenance and replacement in a timely manner.
2. The surface temperature should not be too high
Even for durable wear-resistant ceramic rollers, attention should be paid to changes in environmental temperature. As the operating temperature continues to rise, the service life of the ceramic roller will also be shortened. After the temperature inside the furnace rises to the upper limit of the ceramic roller, it will accelerate the oxidation rate of the ceramic rod and shorten the service life of the ceramic roller. The surface temperature of the ceramic roller should be observed at any time to avoid rising too high as much as possible.
3. Moderate voltage adjustment
If the ceramic rod undergoes oxidation during use, it will gradually increase the resistance. Under normal circumstances, it is necessary to increase the working voltage in a timely manner to maintain the normal furnace temperature. When the voltage rises to the peak value of the transformer used but still cannot reach the required value, the furnace can be shut down to change the wiring method of the rod, and then continue to use. If the new furnace starts to supply power, the voltage should be increased in a timely manner to prevent rod breakage. The starting voltage should be half of the rated voltage, and then slowly increase after returning to normal.

1. Ceramic roller cleaning
Ceramic roller cleaning can be done with clean water and a soft cloth, and detergent and soap cannot be used. To avoid water vapor, the drums of the insulated glass production line should be dried before heating. The preparation rod should be placed in a well ventilated and dry place to avoid mold on the drum surface over time.
2. Keep the glass clean
Glass cleaning is equally important, as it also includes edge maintenance. The edges of the glass should not have small fragments, and the smoothness of the glass edges should be ensured. Otherwise, there is a risk of glass breakage during the production process, and glass powder and small particles will stick to the ceramic rollers.
3. Cleanliness of production environment
When using ceramic rollers in glass tempering furnaces, the factory should always maintain cleanliness and effectively prevent the generation of dust. Before entering the furnace, small particles, dust, and materials separated from the glass need to be cleaned. When using a trailer outdoors, attention should be paid to cleanliness to avoid excessive dust accumulation and ensure daily cleanliness.
